The Forberg® Rotating Vacuum Coater (RVC) was specially developed in the 90s for the fish feed industries in Norway. However, since then the RVC has become a standard machine in pet food production lines. The third generation Forberg® RVC guarantees optimal liquid penetration into the pellets.

To cover the high demand of energy for dog food it is essential to incorporate additional fat and oil into the pellets. With the high-tech coating equipment of Forberg® it is possible to add a significant amount of fat after the extrusion process into the pellets. The Forberg® RVC enhances the palatability of pet food by ensuring deep penetration of fat and an equal distribution of additives such as, powder and liquid digests, antioxidants, medicines, vitamins and flavors.
