Support for research by the Mechanical Engineering Competence Centre
Within the Recovery Fund’s Operational Programme “Implementation of the second round of the Latvia Recovery and Resilience Mechanism Plan’s 5.1. reform and investment direction ‘Increasing productivity through increased R&D investment volume,’ 5.1.1.r. reform ‘Innovation management and motivation of private R&D investment,’ 5.1.1.2.i. investment ‘Support instrument for research and internationalization’,” SIA “MAŠĪNBŪVES KOMPETENCES CENTRS” is implementing, from June 1, 2024 to December 31, 2027, project No. 5.1.1.2.i.0/2/24/A/CFLA/008 “Support for research by the Mechanical Engineering Competence Centre.”
As part of the project “Support for research by the Mechanical Engineering Competence Centre,” SIA “Forberg Production” began implementation of research project No. J.1.14 “Retractable twin shaft mixer – hygienic design for the food industry” on August 1, 2026.
The goal of the research project is to develop and validate a two-shaft mixer with retractable shafts and a hygienic design that meets food industry requirements and ensures an efficient, safe, and easily cleanable mixing process. The project covers technology development from laboratory-level design through validation in a simulated environment.
The research project is planned to be completed by July 31, 2027. The total planned project costs are EUR 273,070.87, including EUR 142,235.00 in European Union Recovery Fund financing.

Atveseļošanas fonda Darbības programmas “Latvijas Atveseļošanas un noturības mehānisma plāna 5.1. reformu un investīciju virziena “Produktivitātes paaugstināšana caur investīciju apjoma palielināšanu P&A” 5.1.1.r. reformas “Inovāciju pārvaldība un privāto P&A investīciju motivācija” 5.1.1.2.i. investīcijas “Atbalsta instruments pētniecībai un internacionalizācijai” otrās kārtas īstenošana” ietvaros SIA “MAŠĪNBŪVES KOMPETENCES CENTRS” no 2024. gada 1. jūnija līdz 2027. gada 31. decembrim īsteno projektu Nr. 5.1.1.2.i.0/2/24/A/CFLA/008 “Mašīnbūves kompetences centra atbalsts pētniecībai”.
Projekta “Mašīnbūves kompetences centra atbalsts pētniecībai” ietvaros SIA “Forberg Production” 2026. gada 1. augustā uzsāk pētniecības projekta Nr. J.1.14 “Divu asu maisītāja iekārta ar izvelkamām asīm – higiēnisks dizains pārtikas rūpniecībai” īstenošanu.
Pētniecības projekta mērķis ir izstrādāt un validēt divu asu maisītāja iekārtu ar izvelkamām asīm un higiēnisku dizainu, kas atbilst pārtikas rūpniecības prasībām un nodrošina efektīvu, drošu un viegli tīrāmu maisīšanas procesu. Projekts aptver tehnoloģijas attīstību no laboratorijas līmeņa dizaina līdz validācijai mākslīgi radītā vidē.
Pētniecības projektu plānots realizēt līdz 2027. gada 31. jūlijam. Projekta kopējās izmaksas plānotas EUR 273 070.87, tai skaitā EUR 142 235.00 – Eiropas Savienības Atveseļošanas fonda finansējums.
